A particular guy went viral across social media after he admitted that he had been in a relationship with Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach during college days!
He revealed the confession through the Facebook page The UST Files in which students and alumni can confess anonymously. Other universities have their version of this type of page. In the post, the guy, whose pen name was "Guy With Regrets", shared how he met Pia in LRT 2 V. Mapa station in LRT 2 station. Pia was stepping in the yellow line, and he took the chance to quip "Ate, wag kang tatalon", and they started seeing each other after that. Pia was then studying in Center for Asian Culinary Studies in San Juan while he was taking AB Economics in UST. Pia was also taking on minor roles in ABS-CBN back at that time.
"Meeting place namin lagi sa SM Sta. Mesa, which is gitna ng San Juan at Espanya. Madalas kami manood ng mga corny at cheap romantic comedy sa sine. Tuwang-tuwa siya sa mga ganong palabas. Ako, ‘di ko trip. Pero nagpapanggap na lang na natutuwa para sa kanya." he shared.
The guy admitted that Pia was really beautiful but not ravishing like she is now. But what seemed to be the highlight of the story is when he confessed that he took Pia for granted. He didn't believe her when she told him that she was going to be Miss Universe. Furthermore, the guy admitted that he stood her up a couple of times. Towards the end, he shared how he cheated on her during an outing and that Pia was devastated after.

According to him, he learned his lesson after that. He then pleaded to other guys to respect women and not to take them for granted.
"Kung gusto n’yo kong ibash, it’s okay. I guess I really deserve it. But that was 8 years ago. I learned a lot ever since. Yung next relationship ko, kinarma ako ng sobra. Ako naman yung ‘di sineryoso. Harap-harapang nanlalaki yung babae sakin. Bumalik sakin lahat ng panggagago ko. Narealize ko na sobrang mali yung ginawa ko.
