Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva went viral after announcing that she will be giving away the gown she used for Miss Universe to a Filipino girl who wants it and needs it. She posted the announcement just last night after the coronation night of the 65th Miss Universe.
Miss Bulgaria didn't make it to the top 13. However, her beauty and kindness were greatly notice by Pinoy fans. She is currently studying European Studies at the University of Sofia.
Along with the post, was the picture of her navy blue, two-piece top and tulle skirt which was designed by Sherri Hill, a renowned American fashion designer. According to her, she wants to give the gown to "girl in need that can't buy a dress for her prom next month."
Many were touched by the kind gesture that Miss Bulgaria offered and her post was flooded by positive comments from netizens, especially from Filipinos.
One netizen even commented: "Thank you for your generosity! That's what makes the people of your country admirable! Thank you and visit us again soon!"
She encouraged those who are interested to message her personally on Facebook as soon as possible as she would be flying back to Bulgaria soon.
