A Facebook page named DailyDuterte posted Filipino–Made Weapons that really amazed netizens.
PNP General Ronaldo “Bato” Dela Rosa attended an exhibit of Filipino-made rifles.
Netizens expressed their opinions regarding the locally made weapons, leading them to question why the Philippines has to buy weapons from other countries if it can create its own weapons.
The United States stopped selling firearms to the Philippines due to the extra judicial killings brought upon by President Duterte’s bloody war against drugs. This arms embargo has caused some Filipinos to cry out for locally-made weapons.
