Joey Grave, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who came home for a vacation was found dead days after a group of armed men took him away. His body was found in Barangay 176 in Bagong Silang, Caloocan on August 27.
Grave's mother claimed that his son only went to the store in their neighborhood when news came that he was taken by men with masks and firearms.
"Ang sabi raw hinuli kaya hinabol na lang namin. Hindi na namin nakita dahil ang sabi sa presinto wala naman silang operation. Kung saan-saan na namin hinanap, sa mga hospital, punerarya, wala talaga," she said.
When reports came after Grave's body was found, it was found out that his name was mentioned in a list of suspected pushers.
Grave's family denied this allegation, saying it had only been two months since he came back from Saudi Arabia and was scheduled to go to Taiwan on September for work.
His family is now crying justice for Grave's death.
