The Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa of the Philippine National Police finally commented on the critics of the administration of President Duterte towards their campaign against illegal drugs.
He pointed out that in one month of being in the position to fight against the drug lords and criminals in the country, they have already come far.
Pertaining to the bashers who kept on giving their negative comments about their actions, Dela Rosa said: “Sila na lang mag-pulis, ikaw din, kayo na lang magpulis, tignan natin kung ano ang kaya n’yo. Ilang taon na kayong nagki-criticize, ang Duterte administration one month pa lang tapos hanapan n’yo ng pagkakamali, we have a mission to do.”
Over the weekend, President Duterte read out to the pubic the list of the officials who are being accused of having involvement in the illegal trade of drugs.
But the critics are there to fire their insights about the action. The said action was called ‘premature’ by the Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno on Monday.
Senaor De Lima said that the list was outdated and did not undergo revalidation. For Ifugao Rep. Teddy Baguilat said that the list was useless without evidence.
The PNP Chief is positive about the process that they have made.
“I am very positive with the way things is doing. Nasa one month pa lang tayo, may five months pa tayo. We are still awaiting for the people of the community, ang daming gustong tumulong, doon tayo humuhugot ng lakas,” Dela Rosa added.
He even pointed out that the supply of Shabu in the country is getting lower and that it has become expensive because of the difficulty of finding a supplier.
“Nagmahal ang shabu ngayon. Noon sa Metro Manila maglakad ka drugs can be bought like candies, ngayon mahirap na.”
