The suspect on the Quiapo road rage killing vowed to give financial assistance to the family of the victim who was hit by a stray bullet during the altercation.
In an article written by Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas and ALG of GMA News online, it was disclosed that suspect Vhon Martin Tanto instructed his wife to reach out to the family of Roselle Bondoc, 18; to communicate on how they can help finance the costs after she had to be operated on. Bondoc’s kidney was hit by a stray bullet while the suspect was shooting at gaming assistant Mark Vincent Garalde.
Tanto also told his now three months pregnant wife to continue selling barbeque for the mean time to sustain the needs of their three children.
Fundraising campaign
Meanwhile, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre announced a “fundraising” campaign for the victims of the Quiapo incident; as the Public Attorneys Office vowed to provide legal assistance to their families.
“I take pity on the victims of this crime so I would like to start the fundraising,” Aguirre said.
He said he is donating P20,000 from his own funds to kick-start the drive.
