- Bread street-seller accidentally photobombs pop star Tinie Tempah in Nigeria
- Olajumoke Orisaganu, who was at the time carrying a bag of bread on top of her head, was photographed alongside Tempah
- Photographer Ty Bello tracked her down and helped her land a modelling contract
A woman who accidentally photobombed a pop star lands a modelling contract in Nigeria.
Olajumoke Orisaganu, who was carrying a bag full of bread on top of her head, appeared at the perfect timing when English musician Tinie Tempah was posing for a photo shoot. The singer and rapper Tempah was on a visit on his hometown when the unexpected discovery happened.
Based from an article by Jaime Lutz on Someecards, photographer Ty Bello said it was perfect coincidence that he captured on camera the beautiful Orisaganu. Mesmerized by her natural beauty, Bello posted on his Instagram the photograph and asked help from everyone to help him locate Orisaganu.
Bello wrote: “WHO IS SHE. Every one has been asking if this lady is a model.. it was just perfect coincidence.. She just happened to be walking by while I photographed. It happened so fast. She definitely SHOULD be a model… I’m happy to help her build a portfolio if she’s interested. She’s so beautiful and photographed so well. I’ll find a way to track her down somehow. You guys can also help”
A week after, Bello was able to track down Orisaganu, who is actually a hairstylist but was selling bread to make ends meet for her two young children ages 5 and 14-month-old. She is also married to a sliding door installer from the village of Ire in Osun state, according to Dominique Taylor’s report published on Blavity.
Following her discovery, she was photographed by Bello for a Nigerian magazine and landed on the cover. Bello, who was true to his words, helped the newly discovered model put up her own portfolio. A few days later, she has entered into a modelling contract with a local agency.
