On December 2017, former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Miho Nishida was rumored to have undergone cosmetic surgery. After pictures of her surfaced on social media, netizens thought that her nose has changed.
She previously remained mum on the issue but when she appeared in an episode of the evening talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Miho bared it all and said the following:
“Gusto ko lagi akong maganda, lagi akong handa kung nasaan man ako…gusto ko lang mag-improve sa sarili ko.”
According to Star Cinema, Miho first confirmed it through DZMM Teleradyo’s “Showbuzz.” However, she further explained herself on the evening talk show and said:
“Para sa akin, Tito Boy, sa isang artista, gusto ko lagi akong maganda, lagi akong handa kung nasaan man ako. Gusto kong maipakita sa tao na, ‘Ay, maganda pala si Miho. Maganda siya. Kasi ‘yun naman ang trabaho natin, lagi kailangan tayong maganda, maayos. So, ‘yun lang po.”
Now, in a recent report by ABS-CBN Push, her daughter Aimi finally revealed her reactions about her mom’s facial enhancement.
The mother-and-daughter pair appeared in an episode of the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay,” where Karla Estrada said that she’s proud of the former “PBB” housemate for having a cosmetic surgery despite the risks and the public bashing.
The host began, “Alam mo Miho, sobra kaming hanga sa’yo at tsaka proud kami sa’yo dahil open ka naman sa facial enhancement na ginawa mo, kasi you know, perspective ulit, kanila naman ‘yon, ‘di ba? Pero hindi kasi lahat open sabihin na nagpa-enhance ako ng mata, ilong, chin, blah blah. So rine-respect ko ‘yon.”
She went on to say that Miho’s look post-cosmetic surgery was “natural.”
“Yung beauty mo, mas lalong lumabas,” Karla continued. “Nag-bloom (ka).”
Miho Nishida reiterated the statement she said in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” and added, “Gusto kong mag-improve sa sarili ko at siyempre gusto ko maganda tayong lagi, sa TV man o sa labas.”
Then Melai Cantiveros asked her about Aimi’s reaction to her post-cosmetic surgery look.
“Nakilala ka ba ni Aimi?” Jolina Magdangal emphasized.
“Sabi niya sa’kin, hindi na tayo magkamukha, hindi na tayo magkaparehas ng ilong,” Miho answered in a jokingly lamenting tone.
The hosts laughed for good measure.
“Importante pa din ‘yung kagandahan ng loob, ‘yun naman talaga ‘yung uunahin natin,” Jolina said while the other hosts agreed.
For now, Miho Nishida is happily enjoying her enhanced looks that have definitely boosted her self-confidence.
