Antonin and Alexandra Kinova, a young couple from Milovice, Czech Republic, have just started building their family. They were blessed with a son, but the pair’s wish to have a big family came to fruition when they received news that Alexandra was pregnant. Both of them were happy and excited, but they did not expect that there would more surprises and revelations coming their way.
When Antonin and Alexandra went to the doctor, the doctor found out that Alexandra was actually carrying a pair of twins!
But the surprises didn’t stop there.
The couple was again called for an appointment that gave them the surprise of a lifetime. The doctor corrected their analysis and said that the Kinovas should actually expect three children.
After more ultrasound scans, Alexandra and Antonin were now told that there are actually four fetuses growing inside her belly. But when Alexandra’s womb didn’t seem to stop increasing in size, a final scan was conducted that there are actually FIVE fetuses. Imagine the shock on the pair’s faces when they found out that she was having quintuplets!
In the summer of 2013, the quintuplets, four boys and a girl, were safely delivered via C-section. But did you know that Antonin almost missed the delivery? The panicked dad was stuck because of a delayed train and shared that he almost cried because he thought he was going to miss the momentous birth.
This was the first time that quintuplets were naturally born in the Czech Republic so it was only obvious that a lot of eyes were on them. Congratulations to Antonin and Alexandra for having such a wonderfully big family!
