Sometimes, people online often say hurtful and straight up rude remarks to celebrities. While it is true that celebrities are public personalities, that doesn’t warrant other people to demean them. In order to avoid a bad public image, some celebrities avoid confrontation. But Julie Anne San Jose proved that she can shut down a basher while still maintaining a professional tone!
The Kapuso singer took to Twitter to express her sentiments towards a basher. According to a report recently published in Kami.ph, the 23-year-old celebrity said that she would rather focus on improving herself than to be affected by her bashers.
Julie Anne San Jose was quoted as saying:
“Nagfo-focus na lang ako sa isang bagay or sa mga bagay na ikakabuti ko para sa akin. Ang importante [ay] mag-focus tayo sa sarili natin on how to be better individuals.”
Earlier this week, her patience was tested when an Instagram user named Anj Torres sent her a hateful and bitter message on her official Instagram account. The hater accused Julie Anne of not having talent and even sent expletives at her.
Fighting fire with fire will only result in disaster. Instead of confronting her basher right then and there, Julie Anne San Jose maintained her cool.
She took to Twitter to post a meaningful message, which clearly points to her hater. She was quoted as saying:
“Having a decent job doesn’t always mean you’re a decent person.”
Many people lauded Julie Anne for her professionalism. Despite being under a lot of hate, the young singer still managed to keep a cool head and spread wise words! This just goes to show that she’s not only a great performer on stage, but also an admirable person inside out.
