Dawn Zulueta posts throwback photo on Instagram, praised by netizens for timeless beauty

It is undeniable that the veteran actress Dawn Zulueta possesses timeless beauty. If ever you’re in doubt, you may be pleased to check her recent throwback post on Instagram—her 13-year-old self next to a poster of the lead vocals of Duran Duran, Simon Le Bon.

Duran Duran was big during the 1980’s, which is why it is irrefutable why Dawn Zulueta considers herself a fan girl during her younger years like most of the young ladies nowadays. The English new wave band was the one who popularized the hit songs “Ordinary World,” “Hungry Like The Wolf,” “Rio,” among others.

Dawn’s post gained massive “hearts” from her fans and supporters. Some also poured nostalgia on her comments section, such as this netizen bearing the username @holychastity who claimed to have always seen Dawn back in the day.

Meanwhile, Dawn will be top-billing the film “Meant to Beh” opposite the veteran actor and comedian Vic Sotto. Their last project together was on the sitcom “Okay Ka, Fairy Ko” and Dawn is delighted to work with Vic again. She said:

“Actually, it’s a big honor to be paired with Bosing Vic on a grand movie presentation like ‘Meant to ‘Beh.’” For a time, I played the role of Faye in “Okay Ka, Fairy Ko.” I think that was in the mid-‘90s. It was short-lived though and after that, there wasn’t any chance for us to do another project once again. That’s why I’m thrilled because for sure, the viewing public will find our screen pairing exciting since it is fresh.”

The movie is slated to hit the cinemas on Christmas day as an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The veteran actress then shared details about the flow of the film’s plot.

“We’ll be presenting conflicts that surround contemporary families, like the relationship of husbands and wives when they feel they’ve already outgrown each other after being married for quite some time, how parents handle the challenges and difficulties faced by their children at present and how kids play a vital role in bringing back their parents together. It’s really a heart-warming story that the public will love.”
