There’s only one week left and it’s already Christmas day! At this point in time, almost all celebrities are probably busy adorning their homes with their extravagant Christmas decorations or are already preparing for their Holiday vacation trips. While these may be the ideal ways to feel the Holiday season, some opt for less self-serving means to embod their holiday spirit.
Such was the case for Sinon Loresca, or more popularly known as the “Catwalk King“. In a report from GMA News, the social media star proved that he’s just as fantastic on the inside as much as he is on the outside. For this year’s Christmas, he chose to give back to the less fortunate by giving them food and aguinaldos. The bit was recorded and put up on his Instagram.
The compassion that Sinon has for the unfortunate traces back to his past. According to his interview with GQ, the Catwalk King was disowned by her mother after learning about his sexuality. He left his home and what forced to settle in what he called a “garbage mountain” in Manila.
Fast forward to ten years, what used to be an outcast is now the media sensation that is Sinon. With just a pair of high heels, the Catwalk King was able to rise to stardom as he stunningly strutted his stuff like a supermodel.
When asked what he feels whenever he does his signature catwalk, Sinon answered:
“For me, I have so much confidence to do it. I really love it. If it makes people happy or not, I don’t give a shit. It is my passion. I feel happy when I do it. I know that not only women can catwalk. Everyone can do it, even if they’re masculine, as long as they love it.”
No wonder why blessings have rained down on the Catwalk King. He’s such an inspiration not just for his exceptional talent but also for his big heart.
