Kris Aquino clears up speculations on her return to ABS-CBN

Last year, news of renowned TV host Kris Aquino leaving ABS-CBN Network for APT Entertainment, Inc. stunned the show business. The Queen of All Media took to her Instagram her last goodbye to what’s been her home for 22 years. The said post was a tell-all statement from the Kapamilya staple on the grounds of her decision.

Kris said that she had to back out from her contract renewal on February 2016 following a health issue. She, along with her family, flew to Hawaii for a recovery period. At this point, she revealed that upon her return, the network couldn’t get a space for her due to her longtime absence.

“We spoke in July but there was no definite show & no assured time frame of my return on air. I perfectly understood- as much as I wanted to believe I was a pillar of the network, everybody is dispensable.”

However, Kris said that she harbors no grudge against the management despite their regrettable end. She followed up by clarifying that the decision wasn’t single-handedly made.

“And I say that with no bitterness- just HONESTY. So to all of you saying please don’t leave- it wasn’t a choice that was just mine to make. I take my share of the responsibility. And I say that w/ so much gratitude in my heart. [sic]”

It’s been a long while since the Kris has touched the subject of her stepping down from ABS-CBN Network. But recently, the “Feng Shui” star had to shed a light on speculations of her going back in the aforementioned network, which circulated rapidly on social media.

In her Instagram account was the Queen of All Media answering a comment from a netizen concerning the rumors. She wrote:

“this is said w/ only truth & no bitterness- we had a breakup & they’ve moved on & so have I. I think “Starting Over Again” is just 1 of my favorite PioloToni movies by @starcinema- but it doesn’t happen in real life. Good night.”

Bad news to those who miss seeing Kris on ABS-CBN, for it seems that the TV host has already burned her bridges with her former management.
