The showbiz industry is full of glamour and glitz. Many see the obviously gratifying life that these celebrities earn from their careers. But what many don’t know is that their jobs don’t always come easy, especially for passionate artists. Out of their love for their craft, many are willing to go to great lengths just to give life to their roles.
In a three-part video she put up on Instagram, Kris Bernal just proved she’s one of the latter. For her new drama series “Impostora“, the actress puts on prosthetic makeup as she plays dual characters Nimfa and Rosette. There, she shared how the two personas are animated.
She wrote:
“For today’s taping: Three different kinds of prosthetics. Pabalik-balik ang pag-apply at pagtanggal. Hindi lang yan, may glam look pa ko. Whew! Sa #Impostora ko lang na-experience ‘to! Saludo na talaga ako sa mga artistang nakagawa ng 2 or more characters in a show! #DualCharacter (More on my IG stories)”
In the first clip was the celebrity seen enduring the removal of her prosthetic makeup. As the makeup artist slowly peeled away the artificial material, Kris cried in pain due to the seemingly agonizing process.
In the second take Kris, amid the uncomfortable moment, was jesting about her challenging roles. She said:
“Ang hirap kumita ng pera. [laughs] Aray ko po. Yung balat ko.”
In the last part was the undaunted “Tadhana” star being prepared for another prosthetic makeup session. Written across the clip was “Prosthetics na ulit!!! #MyLifeAintEasy“.
For this, the gorgeous celebrity has won respect of the netizens anew. Everyone showered her with praise for her undeniable determination for the show.
The post went viral on social media as it garnered over 6,000 likes as of writing.
Hats off to Kris for her exceptional commitment to her acting career! She truly deserves the leading roles!
