News of a 17-year-old student who has been missing for two days in Muntinlupa City has stirred the public recently.
The teenager, identified as Patricia “Ica” Policarpio was reportedly last seen outside a coffee shop at East Service Road in Sucat, Muntinlupa City at around 10:53PM.
After hours of staying in the cafe, Ica went outside to change her money for bills. She was witnessed in the CCTV walking outside the shop.
She has not been seen since.
Her phone and the rest of her stuff were left at the coffee shop. In an interview with Inquirer, Bea’s father, Rufino Policarpio, said that they were supposed to pick up her daughter.
“I told her we’re going to be late.
“We don’t know if it’s voluntary or involuntary. But we hope to find her soon. We’re getting really worried as the hours progress.”
According to a Facebook post by her older sister Bea, the student was wearing semi-rounded glasses, blue sweater with striped sleeves, black pants, white shoes, and a colored beanie when she went missing.
The Philippine National Police are currently in the hunt for Ica, with the help of police from Metro Manila and nearing places Cavite and Laguna.
It was known that Ica is niece to former Presidential Legislative Liason Office chief Jimmy Policarpio, who was a cabinet member of the now Manila Mayor Erap Estrada.
The Policarpio family pleads to the public for any information on Ica’s whereabouts.
“If anyone has any information about her whereabouts, PLEASE let us know immediately via 09178946893.”
