The year-end classes for college students equate to a hell week. The exams are due, projects are being submitted, and theses are being defended. The immense workload is enough to make anyone crack under pressure, but not this woman. Despite undergoing labor in the hospital, this pregnant woman managed to take her final exams! Talk about dedication.
Nayzia Thomas is a college sophomore at Johnson County Community College. While in the middle of giving birth to her first child with Daivon Johnson, right when her year-end exams were due. Right when she’s just about to deliver her child, the college sophomore from Missouri decided to take on her final exams while lying on the hospital bed.
Despite being in the middle of labor, the woman managed to take her exams. She was already wearing a hospital gown and an IV is already injected on her, but she looked calm and collected while taking her exams on a laptop and reviewing on a textbook. Nayzia did not mind her contractions as long as she aced that exam!
The sight of the pregnant woman while taking her exams was just too good to let pass. Her mother decided to take a photo of Nayzia while taking an exam on the hospital bed. She shared it on Twitter with the hilarious caption:
As expected, many people were amused by this pregnant woman’s tweets! As a matter of fact, as per Fox News, Nayzia’s tweets already reached an astounding 103,000 likes and 20,000 retweets.
Many people expressed their salute to the young mother who still showed value to her education despite being in the middle of a crisis. Some of them even shared their own experience.
When the semester ended, Nayzia did not only end up with a 3.5 GPA, but also with a healthy baby boy named Anthony! Now, what’s your excuse?
