Woman caught on camera slapping an elderly taxi driver in Quezon City

A woman in Quezon City was caught slapping an elderly taxi driver in the middle of a road. The location where the incident occurred was not disclosed – other than that the drama was filmed by a concerned netizen.

He shared it on Facebook, where it has reached a total of 9.5 million views, 210,602 shares, and 77,000 comments as of this writing. According to him, the woman went to their shop when she found out that he shared the video. She asked him to take it down but the netizen said that he was not the only one who took a video of it.

The official Facebook page of Pilipino Star Ngayon also got wind of the situation and shared the news on Dec. 17, 2017.

In the video, a Honda car was at a standstill in the middle of a road somewhere in Quezon City. Its hazard lights were blinking while a taxi was right beside it. It couldn’t be deduced if the Honda actually skidded on the side of the taxi or vice-versa. However, there was a gap between the two vehicles so a direct hit may not be possible.

Either way, the woman got out of her car and confronted the taxi driver. She was with a man wearing a sando shirt, who could be presumed was her companion. She went to the driver’s side of the taxi and shouted at the driver while her companion watched. This went on while vehicles continued to pass by the road.

Fortunately, there weren’t too many vehicles that time but the Honda and the taxi already occupied two lanes of the road. The woman pointed at something and after a few seconds, she slapped the driver inside. “Ano?! Ano, ano?!” she shouted at him.

Her companion held her hand in an attempt to stop or probably calm her down but she continued to hit and shout at the driver. Meanwhile, the one who took a video of the incident said, “Bawal ‘yan ah.”

After a minute or so, a motorcycle rider stopped by to look at their situation. The taxi driver alighted from his car with a hand on his left cheek. It could be seen that it was where he was slapped. The taxi driver slowly walked from the side of the car to the sidewalk of the road, where he sat with the hand still on his cheek.

” Yari kang babae ngayon,” the man who took the video said.
