If you thought the Philippine presidential election last May caused a stir, then today must be the mother of all worst-case scenarios. Donal Trump has officially won the US presidential race and will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America. He garnered 276 electoral vote versus Clinton’s 218.
In desperation, many US citizens flooded Canada’s official immigration website to attempt migration. Unfortunately, the website crashed due to the heavy traffic. An error message is the only thing showing onscreen for visitors of the site.
Although Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claims that Canada is open to migration, they still maintain fairly strict immigration rules, such as securing a job, a graduate study course, or a professional niche, which constitute Canadian work residency requirements.
