Even before he was officially elected as the president of the United States, Trump spoke on Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and has already released a plan for his first 100 days in the office.
The plan has it’s 3 pillars: cleaning up Washington, protecting American workers; and restoring rule of law. His plans also include working with the congress to introduce 10 piece legislation that would repeal Obamacare, fund the construction of a wall at the Southern border, encourage infrastructure investment, rebuild military bases, promote school choice and more.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell shot down his plan. “It will not be on the agenda in the Senate.” McConnell said, “I would say we have term limits now — they’re called elections.”
However, McConnell mostly made nice remarks on the newly elected president, and showed enthusiasm as well. “We look forward to working with him,” McConnell said. “I think most of the things that he’s likely to advocate we’re going to be enthusiastically for.”
Trump is on his way to Make America Great again, with his new campaign, “Donald Trump’s Contract With The American Voter.” Do you think he’ll meet his 100 day goal?
