The onslaught of the recent super typhoon has caused a lot of damage to the areas it passed by, and its residents needed aid in order for them to get back up on their feet.
Over the last few weeks, the Department of Social Welfare and Development has gotten a lot of praise for their response to this challenge.
The department’s Secretary Judy Taguiwalo showed off on Facebook and posted a picture of the contents that were inside the new relief packages.
“Mga kababayan, ito po ang DSWD Family Foodpack at ang laman (n)ito,” Secretary Judy Taguiwalo said on Facebook.
The food pack is enough to sustain the needs of a family of five for two days, according to Taguiwalo.
She emphasized.
Taguiwalo added.
Netizens were all for the efforts of the department, and praises poured out for the organized and generous system of the new administration.
God blessed u po,” one Facebook user said.
