Due to Agot Isidro being bashed online, celebrities joined forces against cyber bullying.
“Sana lang panawagan sa ibang tao, kahit artista tayo, we are people seen on TV, I dont think anybody has the right to feel or be talked to that way,” Nikki Valdez said.
“I guess, if that’s what they really think and they really really want to let it out, you can never judge her,” Paul Jake Castillo said.
“Kaniya-kaniyang opinion yan. May freedom naman tayo,” Kaye Abad said.
Anti-bullying is a cause that’s very important to Rita Avila. She wrote a book that is based on bullying entitled, “Ang Hindi Nakikitang Pakpak” that was made into a musical that will be featured in St. Scholastica College.
“Naaawa ako sa kaniya when people say things against her. Kase yung iba sobra nang personal,” she said.
“Sana we all learn to compose what we say para hindi masyadong nakakasugat,” Avila said.
Robin Padilla said that he too has experienced bashing.
“Ganun talaga, kapag wala ka sa oras na nakaupo yung iyo, eh talagang mababakbakan ka,” Padilla said
“Sabi nga ni Mayor mismo, siya na mismo nagsabi, that is our right then he will protect our right. Ang dami dami ng problema ng bansa kase na dapat nating hinaharap. Wag na tayong mag-away-away,” Padilla added.
According to Robin Padilla, all we need to do is to respect and to be responsible in the opinions we convey.
