The whole country was shook when the Davao city was hit by an explosion which killed 14 people and injured 60 others. The PNP is now on hunt of the three suspects who are believed to be responsible for the said explosion. According to reports, the suspects used an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the blast.
Meanwhile, Tourism Advocacy and Public Affairs Undersecretary Katherine de Castro posted her own perspective and opinion about the tragedy. She said:
"The explosion is probably a diversion at the expense of innocent lives. Sham on whoever is behind this. Now, you have angered us even more."
She also slammed those netizens who mock the city for being a supposed-safest city bragged by the President. She condemns these foolish claims and urges everyone to pray for the victims insteam. She also responded to the critics and said: "Excuse me, pero mas naniniwala ako na those who laugh at the expense of innocent lives who perished. Kayo po ang kakarmahin."
On the other hand, PNP has still no lead to these three suspects but is now developing sketches.
