A Man Is Filled With Regret After Losing His Only Son And Wife In Davao Bombing, Now Begs For Justice!
Dennis Larida and his family hoped for nothing but a well-spent quality time together at the popular Davao City Night Market when the bombing transpired.
Larida just got home when his wife Melanie and only son, 12-year-old Josh asked him if the three of them could go to the Roxas Night Market for a massage. While his wife and son were enjoying their treat, Larida was at the back unaware that in a single blast, he would lose his family in a matter of seconds.
Larida was fortunate to have not acquired even a small scratch however, his wife and son were severely injured and later on succumb to their wounds.
During the wake of his family, he couldn't contain his regrets on giving in to their request of going to the night market.
"I wish that I had refused to go. After all, it has been my habit to just stay home when I'm already tired," Larida said on his own dialect.
Although he also shared that despite the great loss, he does not hold grudges against those who were responsible for the explosion.
"God has said, 'Vengeance is mine.' I don't stand a chance in fighting the suspects and seeking vengeance. Justice is what I want."
His wife and son are scheduled to be buried at the Calinan Memorial Park this coming Saturday.
