At the age of 16, Rosalie delivered her first baby. After that, she claims that she ‘just kept having these babies’. She now has 17 children and was pregnant 22 times in her lifetime.
In Tondo, one of the urban slum areas in the Philippines which is over populated, Rosalie is quite famous. In their neighborhood, her story is ‘mabenta’ to the foreign and local journalists.
They kept on looking for the ‘woman with many children’. After having babies which are big enough to create their own basketball team with reserved players, Rosalie and her family became one of the people used in the inadvertent posters of the DOH for the Reproductive Health Bill.
In the area, Rosalie is not the only woman with many children.

JEREMY
Jeremy gave birth to her 2nd child when she was 18. She and her boyfriend is currently living together and were trying to consider family planning. A blank look was given by Jeremy saying, “Hindi po ba pang mag-asawa lang yun?”
Family planning is one of the things that the government needed to focus on. The people who are clueless of the effects of their actions are the reason why the population of the country is constantly increasing.
