- Celebrity DJ and boyfriend arrested during buy-bust operation
- Raid yielded P3 million worth of ecstasy and marijuana
- Bordador denied involvement, said she was just visiting her BF
MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity DJ Karen Bordador and her boyfriend Edward Lim after police raided a condominium unit in Pasig City during a buy-bust operation.
Recovered from the unit were ecstasy, marijuana, and marijuana oil estimated to be worth P3 million. The raid also yielded drug paraphernalia and a money counting machine.
According to Sr. Supt. Tomas Apolinario, Lim—who also went by the alias “Edwardo Cruz”—is a big-time suppler of drug dealers operating in Makati and Bonifacio Global City (BGC)’s high-end clubs.
“Siya ang itinuturo na malaking nagsusupply sa mga nagtutulak sa mga clubs sa Makati at sa BGC,” he told ABS-CBN.

Apolinario added that the operation was in compliance to the directive of PNP chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa to rid posh clubs and bars of illegal drugs.
“Itong operation na ito ay bunga ng direktiba ng ating chief na sugpuin ang ilegal na droga dito sa mga high-end clubs tsaka sa mga bars,” he said.
[This operation is due to a directive from our chief PNP, that we should suppress the illegal drugs that can be found at high-end clubs and bars.
Earlier, an arrested Filipino-American drug dealer named Evan Reynald Baylon pointed to Lim as his supplier of ecstasy in BGC.
Bordador, who was whisked away together with Lim, denied any involvement.
“Wala po akong ginagawa, bumisita lang ako [I wasn’t doing anything, I just visited],” she said.
Charges for breaking the country’s anti-drug trafficking laws are being prepared against the two.
