Aside from the nerve-wracking games and competitive athletes in the ongoing Olympic 2016 held in Rio, Brazil, love was also all over the place.
A Brazilian volunteer, stadium manager Marjorie Enya, proposed to her girlfriend, Isadora Cerullo, a rugby player in the Olympics.
Enya, 25, walked in the pitch and asked Cerullo to marry her, after the rugby grand final finished last Monday evening.
And, SHE SAID YES! They then shared a passionate kiss which circulated around the social media. The audience and other volunteers were all giddy and can’t help smiling as happiness fill the place.
“She is the love of my life. I wanted to show people that love wins,” said Enya.
This delighted many of the netizens especially the LGBT Community. Same sex marriage is legal in Brazil since 2003.
Meanwhile, Cerullo finished 9th place at the rugby competition as Australia won the gold medal.
