MANILA, Philippines – The brother of a woman who was found dead with multiple stab wounds in Mindoro last week is seeking the help of netizens to find the killer/s and bring him/her/them to justice as soon as possible.
The dead body of a woman was found tied and wrapped in cloth and packaging tape in Brgy. Pasi Dos , Socorro, Oriental Mindoro a few days ago. A picture of the bloated cadaver was first shared on Facebook on Sunday, August 7, by one Michael Landicho in an attempt to identify her.
Later in the day the body was identified to be that of Queence P. Delos Reyes, 29 years old, single and a resident of Calero in Calapan City.
However, the PNP Socorro remains clueless as to the circumstances surrounding her gruesome death and to the identity of the killer or killers.
The victim’s brother, Carl Jethro De los Reyes, also took to Facebook to seek help in looking for any information that would lead to the identity of the perpetrator/s of the crime.
He claimed her sister sustained 21 stab wounds to the different parts of her body and is believed to have drowned. Her body was found dumped beside a highway.
“Kung sino man po nakakakilala kay Queence P. Delosreyes at kung sino nakakita sa huli nyang kasama pls. po patulong mabigyang hustisya ang kapatid q,” the grieving brother wrote.
[Whoever knows Queence P. Delosreyes and whoever last saw her with someone, please help us seek justice for my sister.]
He also calls on President Rodrigo Duterte and Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.
“NAWA’Y MABIGYAN SYA NG HUSTISYA AT NAIS KO PO SANANG AKO ANG MAGPATAW SA KANYANG KAMATAYAN AKO PO AY HUMIHINGI NG PIRMISO SA INYO AT KUNG HINDI MAN PO TALAGA MAARING AKO ANG KUMITIL SA KANYANG BUHAY NAWAY GUSTO KONG MAHIRAPAN MUNA SYA BAGO MAMATAY,” Carl said in his latest post on August 8.
[I hope she’d be given justice and please allow me to be the one to punish her killer. If it’s not possible, then I hope he suffers before he dies.]
As of this writing, there have been no known updates on the case which means the killer is still at large.
Meanwhile, the Facebook post has gone viral on social media and has since been shared more than 5,500 times.
