Last Thursday night during the Solidarity Dinner at the Delpan Sports Complex in Manila, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte discussed about his administration’s promises for change in front of around 500 people. According to reports, the people present were residents of Isla Puting Bato at the designated place as well as stated by Duterte’s instruction to Social Welfare Secretary, Judy Tagiwalo.
The new president also hopes and desires to be with the people he made his change promise on the following of his campaign. Speaking before those people, “Kayo’y sumunod lang sa gobyerno at makipagtulungan sa amin, gagarantiyahan ko kayo na aangat ang buhay natin.”
And among his vows, like: a better education, the hospitalization and medicine for the people, funds for the agriculture, investments to small-time negotiators and the 24-hour hotline (“8888”). President Rodrigo Roa Duterte have also promised to open the Malacañang Palace for the public!
When he finished his speech, Duterte thanked the people who attended and for those who supported him around the nation. He lastly asked the people to just bear it a little bit more and help him in making the change we want come true.
