A man named Ken Ham decided to biuild a £77million replica of Noah’s ark just to prove that the story in the bible has actually happened.
It was back in 2010 when Ken Ham announced that his organization “Answers in Genesis” will be constructing a 510-foot-long ship in Kentucky.
After the announcement that he made, the scientists couldn’t help but to argue with them because it will really affect the children’s education!
On Tuesday, the said replica was opened to the fans, in fact, a high school marching ban even performed before the ribbon cutting.
“I believe this is going to be one of the greatest Christian outreaches of this era in history,” Ham, president of Answers in Genesis, said.
The replica that’s called Ark Encounter was actually based on the Old Testament wherein a man was warned by God that there would be a flood that will destroy the world.
He then said that this ark will now serve as a proof that stories in the Bible are true
A man named Jim Helton, the leader of the atheist group called Tri-State Freethinkers said: “It’s a clear violation of separation of church and state. What they’re doing is utterly ridiculous and, anywhere else, I don’t think it would be allowed.”
