Pop diva Lady Gaga posted a sweet message about her breakup with partner Taylor Kinney; saying that the two of them have always believed that they were soulmates.
In an article written by Bianca Rose Dabu and RSJ of GMA News, it was disclosed that Lady Gaga, who is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta in real life, posted the brief yet sweet statement amid reports that she and former fiancé, actor Taylor Kinney, have called off their engagement.
“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates,” the award-winning American singer-songwriter captioned the photo of her with Kinney, which she posted on Instagram.
She, on the other hand, noted that the two of them are taking a break.
“Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other,” the singer expressed.
The pop diva met Kinney in 2011 when they filmed the video for “You & I” in the open fields of Nebraska; in which she had incidentally worn her mother’s wedding dress.
In 2015, Kinney proposed to her during a Valentine’s Day dinner at a restaurant in New York which is owned by her family.
Recently, however, Lady Gaga had been appearing without her engagement ring in the photos which she posted also on Instagram. The pictures were taken from the resort town of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where she has been volunteering at a charity.
