MASSACHUSETTS, USA – Photos of a girl who purportedly mistook Nair hair removal cream for shampoo went viral on different social media sites, after the girl’s own sister posted it on Twitter.
Sadie Whitlocks mentioned in her article for Mail Online that Kayla Connors, from Massachusetts, posted a photograph on Twitter of her misfortunate sister who mistook hair removal cream for shampoo.
The “bald” girl looks unamused in viral photos shared by her sister on social media. Kayla has not named her sister who looks funny in the posted photograph.
The posted photo shows Kayla’s sister looking straight-faced with a shiny bald head and only remaining hair appears to be on the side of her head.
As of posting, the photos have received more than 70,000 likes and more than 67,000 retweets. Many commentators doubt the originality of the posted picture and are pointing out that the photos are a hoax.
“Such a horrendous Photoshop, look at the hairline,” one Twitter user commented.
“’Isn’t this just a bald app? The top left of her scalp looks glitched out,” another commented.
An article by Keyan Milanian for Mirror Co UK said that another photo shows Kayla’s sister hiding behind the giant bottle of Nair she apparently used on her hair.
Some online users pointed out that it couldn’t have been hair removal cream because the product doesn’t work that fast and that efficiently.
“Yeah sorry, it really doesn’t work THAT fast and smells so gross you would have to be REALLY dumb to not freak out and get it out instantly,” one Twitter user commented. And yes, many are in agreement.
