CEBU CITY, Philippines – Incoming president Rodrigo Duterte’s children, Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio and Sebastian Duterte, were seen together at the Cebu airport on Thursday, June 9.
The siblings bumped into each other as they were waiting for their departing flights. From the video, it shows the two sharing food and some giggles as they are now set into the limelight for being members of the First Family. The Dutertes’ simple lifestyle has earned the admiration and respect of a lot of people.
The equally tough-talking daughter of president-elect Rody Duterte thanked well-wishers for her father’s victory. But the mayor, who was with some friends, declined an interview.
Sara and Sebastian were home-bound to Davao City. The Duterte family were in Cebu on Wednesday for a success party with supporters.
The Duterte siblings, especially Sebastian or ‘Baste’, have been making waves in social media for some time.
After the controversial head shaving of Sara Duterte last year to show her approval of her father running for presidency, it is now Baste Duterte’s turn to get noticed. With the political science graduate’s rugged surfer look, tattoos, and piercings, Baste has been stealing the hearts of online users with photos and videos of him that make women – and perhaps even some men – swoon.
Just recently a video of him singing the Freestyle’s ‘Before I let you go’, after giving in to his sister’s request, has gone viral online.
