A video footage of a woman seemingly undergoing an exorcism emerged online and caused a stir in the online community.
Ben Russell mentioned in his article for The Mirror Co UK published on June 18 that the video showed a young woman talking to another woman dressed in white and was assumed to be a clergy of some sort.
The woman and clergy were talking in Spanish, in which the woman says she is “not the same”. The woman in white then asks the woman why she is not the same, but the woman didn’t give any response.
“It’s because you’re dead,” the clergywoman said after the woman didn’t respond.
“And the baby?” the clergy asked further. However, the girl replied and said she does not know she is pregnant.
“He hears he hears me, he hears me,” the girl suddenly said. The woman in white said, “He hears you, look at who you are.”
A video published by The Sun showed that the girl flies into a rage after hearing what the clergy said, taking several men in order to restrain her and at one point of the video, the girl gave a seemingly “devil smile.”
Candles can be seen lit in the room while the group carries out the ritual, with men trying hard to hold the woman down on the bed and say prayers.
At the end of the video, the woman appears to revive her consciousness and clutched at her throat as if it is sore from the screaming.
Online users who viewed the video have divided reactions whether to believe the authenticity of it.
“This poor woman is having a psychiatric episode, and instead of being treated clinically, she is being held down and literally tortured. I certainly don’t believe that this is a put on,” online user remogaggi said.
However, online user TreeOfLifeSword said, “Some people actually believe that exorcisms are no longer needed even though Jesus Christ performed many while on earth. Believe me, satan is busier than ever!”
