Would you like to return as a ‘tree’ after you die?
This may sound surprising and even amazing to some but yes, one company is now offering its ‘clients’ this extraordinary opportunity.
The Bios Urn is a fully biodegradable urn designed to convert an individual into a part of nature after dying; an article written by Kara O’Neil which was published by Mirror stated.
Based on description, the biodegradable urn is composed of two sections; the first contains a seed which, when planted in the right conditions, will transform the remains of an individual into a part of nature.
On the other hand, the second compartment will contain the ashes which aid the development of the tree during the decomposition period of the urn.
The biodegradable urn can also be adapted to grow smaller plants if one lacks space to grow a full-size tree or to probably save space, too.
Bios Urn’s company statement goes: “Supported by more than 15 years building products, brands and experiences, Bios Urns offers a smart, sustainable and ecologically friendly way to approach what’s probably one of the most important moments in human life.”
The statement added: “Bios Urn changes the way people see death, converting the ‘end of life’ into a transformation and a return to life through nature.”
So if you want to preserve the memory of your loved ones or family pets, then the idea of immortalizing them into a tree perhaps rings a bell.
From the idea of this Barcelona firm which conceptualized this amazing biodegradable urn, one can choose his own wild by becoming an oak, a beech or gingko tree and return to life after death.
