- Nurse verbally and physically assaulted by man inside PUV to press charges against him
- She said she will pursue her case as she does not want him to victimize others ever again
- Witness who recorded the incident expressed her willingness to testify on the case
MANILA, Philippines – The 22-year-old nurse verbally and physically assaulted inside an FX taxi by John Michael Arellano Musni vowed to press charges even as the latter is currently nowhere to be found.
In an interview with Radyo DZMM, “Joan” said she would not settle with her assailant as she doesn’t want him to victimize others.
[I will not settle because I don’t want that happening to others. And because of the trauma he gave me. It has become hard to ride a car and leave the house because you’ve become afraid of other people.]
For her part, Soy Gonzales, Joan’s fellow passenger who recorded the incident via video clips which has since gone viral, indicated her willingness to testify on the latter’s behalf.
She also belied speculations Musni and his wife were engaged in an argument before he turned on Joan.
[They were not fighting. The only one he confronted was the nurse who was surprised why he was suddenly shouting. He was already shouting the moment he opened his mouth.]
Charges of oral defamation, unjust vexation and physical injury are currently being readied against Musni who has since been off the radar after the incident.
