The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Department of Education (DepEd) have endorsed the 30th Annual Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU2016) to their constituents in the basic and higher education institutions in the Philippines.
The CHED endorsement allows the voluntary participation of all officials, employees and students from all private higher education institutions.
State Universities and Colleges and Local Universities and Colleges need only the approval of the Heads of institutions to be able to participate. The DepEd, on the other hand, issued advisory No. 79, s. 2016 to inform all DepEd officials, personnel, and the concerned public about the AAOU2016.
