Ex-marine staff sergeant Joseph Chamblin revealed to Tennessee police his girlfriend’s plan to have her ex-husband killed. Laura Buckingham, Chamblin’s girlfriend, was later arrested and charged with criminal intent to commit first-degree murder. Chamblin met Buckingham when he left the Marine Corps after the photo of him with other marine snipers urinating on fresh corpses of Taliban fighters went public and drew international criticisms. Buckingham, who used to be a marine herself, has just ended her relationship with her former husband Bradley Sutherland, with whom she had a son.
