The works of an Armenian artist is now circulating online; catching the eyes of many social media users with the unique style of the creator, particularly in using food, petals and buildings, among others, in creating fabulous fashions designs.
On Facebook, Arteide shared the “Creative Fashion Designs by Armenian Artist Edgar” album which contains the designs of artist Edgar Artis. The album has generated 26,000 reactions and 5,000 shares as of posting.
Artis creates fashion sketches and completes the designs with the objects around him such as soap, cheese, sprinkles, onion skin, leaves, petals, fries, ketchup, shells, toothpaste, seeds, matchsticks, fruits, wheat, broken CDs, and droplets of liquid, among others. He also cut some part of his sketches and complete it with the use of the background on the other side such as the sky, sea, lights, buildings, and houses among others.
A lot Facebook users commented on the album; expressing admiration to the artist and saying that they got inspired with his masterpiece.
“Such talent. I can’t deal. You deserve and I hope you get nice things for the work you do,” T. Senoko said.
“So creative I really love it. I do also create and sketch but to be honest I’m still working to it. Nice,” C. Bautista wrote.
“Thanks for sharing! His work is so out of the box!” commented M.Hatter.
“This is what being an artist means,” stated U. Atabay.
“I see inspration! Thank you for being alive and for making this kind of art,” G. Angela stated.
While J. Nelson has quite a different comment: “This designer made me hungry. There is so much food on those pictures that I just want to go and get something to eat.”
Meanwhile, Artis shared in an earlier interview that: “I was inspired by Shamekh Bluwi and Kristina Webb. And now I’m looking for inspiration in almost every object.
