- A soon-to-be wife had a problem with her bridal car
- She books for an Uber and uses it as her bridal car
- Paid only a hundred pesos, comparing it to thousands of pesos she spent in hiring a bridal car
Everything in their wedding happened according to plan — a soon-to-be wife believed, until she had a problem with her bridal car after its key got stuck inside the compartment.
Good thing Uber exists. Bride LilithLilith Villamor booked for a ride and waited for the right “bridal car” to take her to the church.
“Okay na ang lahat ng suppliers, coord, relatives, entou, etc. Okay na ang make up ko by Val Villarin. ‘Yong kahit saang angle ang ganda ko ha ha! Umalis na lahat sa The Victor Hotel at nagpuntang church . Siyempre ako ang bride, ako ang huling aalis dun,” she wrote on Facebook.
[Everything was set; suppliers, coordinators, entourage, etc. My makeup was okay by Val Villarin. I look beautiful from every angle. Everyone has left and went straight to the church. Of course, being the bride, I should be the last person to leave.]
According to her, she was left in the hotel with a certain “Reyn” from Absolutely Knot Events and “Dexie” for her makeup retouch. When they were about to go to the church, they had a problem. The bridal car’s key got stuck inside the compartment!
“Kinuha ko ang phone ko at nag book ng Uber. Maya-maya anjan si Kuya. Dumating Black Toyota Innova…. Mga kasama ko, nailagay pa nila ‘yong flower sa car magmuka namang bridal car,” she narrated.
[I reached for my phone and booked for my phone, booked an Uber. The driver immediately arrived drivng a Black Toyota Innova. My companions even placed flowers in front of the car to look like a bridal car]
She said they were laughing inside the car and the driver was really surprised to see her in a long, white wedding gown.
After 15 minutes, they arrived at the church “just in time and stress-free.” She added that the Uber driver, who happens to be a Christian, prayed over them, then stayed until the whole entourage has entered.
“‘Wag na kayo maghire ng bridal car. Anong sabi ng 101 php na pamasahe ko sa libo na pag hire sa bridal car?” she said; adding that her story is real and she is not paid by Uber.
[Don’t hire a bridal car anymore. What’s P101 compared with thousands of pesos spent in hiring a bridal car.]
