A call to produce a worthy selfie is on the launch?
Yes, it is; as the upcoming national election is drawing nearer and nearer.
Thus, just recently ABS-CBN’s The Filipino Channel (TFC) launched the “Vote for a Selfie Worthy PH” campaign which is aimed to encourage a huge participation of Filipinos everywhere in the May elections tagged as Halalan2016.
The campaign was created via the partnership of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), and it is hoped that the ‘selfie launch’ will encourage Pinoy expatriates to participate by taking snapshots of themselves while showing as a backdrop what they think needs to be improved in the country.
It’s actually cool, right? It’s our chance to emphasize on what changes we wish to see and what we deem are in need of attention.
Moreover, the campaign is also set to urge voters to think deeper and to support only those leaders who have a higher probability of bringing about positive changes in the Philippines to make it “a selfie-worthy country.”
The chosen photos uploaded on social media using the hashtag #Vote4aSelfieWorthyPH will be published on the Kapamilya’s Halalan2016 website.
Let’s take a look at some of the selfies in the video below:
