MANILA, Philippines – A ‘cryptic’ Instagram post of sexy actress Ellen Adarna has left her followers wondering whether she will join the list of celebrities endorsing the presidential bid of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
On her IG account on Tuesday morning, the Pasion de Amor star dropped hint on who she might probably support among the five presidential candidates after admitting she was ‘entertained’ by the recently-concluded ‘Pilipinas Debates 2016’ held on Sunday evening at the University of the Philippines – Cebu (UP-Cebu).
Adarna posted a snapshot of the debate showing Mayor Rodrigo Duterte speaking. At the same time, she also admitted to have been fined P10,000 previously for smoking in Davao City.
She captioned her post with: “Showtime. Tonights Entertainment in fairness Dutz.. gi fine kog 10k sauna kai nanigarilyo kos davao ahahahaha.” [I was fined P10K before for smoking in Davao.]
Her followers were quick to assume that ‘Dutz’ may be referring to no other than Duterte.
Although the Visayan actress did not confirm her endorsement of Duterte, commenters praised her for her ‘choice.’
“Salamat sa pinakadown to earth na bisaya celebrity sa suporta! #du30,” one wrote. [Thank you to the most down-to-earth’ Visayan celebrity for your support (of Duterte)].
“Hahaha nice experience for you at least no celebrity treatment. The law is fair for everyone,” another said, referring to her experience in Davao City.
If Ellen Adarna finally jumps on the bandwagon of Duterte supporters, she will be joining the likes of other celebrities like Aiza Seguerra, Robin Padilla, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, Mocha Uson of the Mocha Girls, Apo singer Danny Javier, Camille Prats, Kristoffer Martin, Bangs Garcia, Gretchen Ho, Francine Prieto, Bryan Termulo and Angelica Panganiban, among many others,
