Angel Locsin returned to Singapore to undergo another medical procedure to treat the disc bulge in her spine.
Locsin shared on her Instagram account a photo of her sitting on the floor waiting for her flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
The photo was captioned: “SG bound kasama ang napilitang umupo sa sahig ng airport.”

The actress decided not to reprise her role as “Darna” in the planned movie adaptation of Mars Ravelo’s Filipino comics heroine because of her medical condition.
Last December, she went to Singapore and underwent the first stage of neuro-spine surgery to treat the disc bulge in her spine and she’s hoping for positive results after that.
In a press conference for her latest movie “Everything About Her,” Locsin reacted to the rumors she will still play ‘Darna’ especially since she had started undergoing treatment.
She admitted there have been talks but emphasized that her health remains her priority.
ABS-CBN News quoted her as saying: “Ang priority ko po kasi talaga ay magpagaling. May kaunting usap-usap pero ang kailangan lang po talagang mangyari ay maging successful po ‘yung operation at walang mangyayaring masama after that. So iyon lang po ang iniisip ko.”
[My priority is to get well. There had been talks but what’s really important to me now is for my operation to be successful and recover after that. That’s all I’m thinking of now.]
She disclosed she always loved playing roles in action-centric films and TV shows.
She portrayed “Darna” more than a decade ago when she was still under GMA Network.
