MANILA, Philippines – May she rest in peace.
The online community is currently in shock over the pictures of a woman whose lifeless body was sprawled on the ground floor of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the unidentified woman — clad in a green t-shirt and khaki shorts — fell to her death from the mall’s 5th floor at around 7 PM on Sunday, February 14.
Online, many expressed their condolences for the woman and urged their peers not to jump to conclusions as there was no official report out yet.
As authorities have yet to release details on the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death, speculations are rife that the woman had intentionally taken her own life due to personal or relationship problems.
However, a few who claim to have been beside the woman in her final moments said her fall was accidental. According to them, the woman was horsing around with some of her companions by playfully sitting on the railings. In the midst of their revelry, she accidentally lost her grip and fell over the railings to her death.
