Recently “Pinoy Big Brother: 737” Big Winner Miho Nishida has set the public abuzz last December 3 when she revealed her new look in a photo with Fil-Am stand-up comedian Jo Koy. In the photo which she posted on her Instagram account, it can be gleaned that something did in fact change with the way the actress looked.
A lot of netizens took to social media to voice how they felt about Miho’s transformation. Some of them said that she looked better before her supposed plastic surgeries. Others showed their support for the actress and said she looks better now, adding that she has the right to do what she wants with her body.
In an episode of “Tonight with Boy Abunda” last December 15, Miho Nishida finally broke her silence about her alleged plastic surgeries. Boy Abunda, the host, told her that people naturally make a big fuss when other people go under the knife, which he does not agree with. He then asked her, “What do you want to say?”, pertaining to the issues surrounding her new look.
Miho Nishida then replied,
“Ah, for me Tito Boy, uhm, gusto ko lang mag-improve sa sarili ko. Tapos para sa akin Tito Boy, para sa isang artista, gusto ko lagi akong maganda, lagi akong handa kung nasaan man ako. Gusto kong maipakita sa tao na, ‘Ay maganda pala si Miho. Maganda siya.’ Kasi ‘yon naman yung trabaho natin, kailangan lagi tayong maganda, lagi tayong maayos. So ‘yon lang naman po Tito Boy.”
In Miho Nishida’s recent guest appearance at DZMM Teleradyo’s “Showbuzz”, she also explained why she decided to change the way she looked. In the interview, she said, “Siyempre, bilang isang artista, para sa akin kung gusto kung lagi tayong maganda. And then happy ako kung ano ang meron sa akin. Mas lalong tumaas iyung confidence ko, so yes.”
When radio host Ahwel asked her, “So confident ka na ngayon dahil, totoo nga? Nagpaayos ka ng… ilong?”, Miho laughed.
She only replied, “Ha? Siyempre, i-improved [sic].”
