WATCH: Joross Gamboa’s funny and sweet promise to his wife Katz

Joross Gamboa is a Filipino actor and model who rose to fame when he became part of the Top 5 of ABS-CBN‘s reality talent search “Star Circle Quest: Season 1” back in 2004. Now, he is happily married to Katz Gamboa and has recently welcomed his second child with her.

In an episode of the ABS-CBN’s morning talk show “Magandang Buhay”, Joross and Katz were interviewed by the hosts regarding their married life. Katz shared that she is very happy to be married to Joross, whom she said keeps their family together. She said that if the public knows her husband to be a comedian on-screen, he is actually a lot funnier off-screen.

“At home, he is more… he is funnier! That’s one of the many reasons why I’m so in love with this guy, he’s so funny talaga! There’s never a dull moment. He’s my best friend,” Katz shared.

She also added that she is very proud of Joross for being a family man who puts his family before anything else.

Hostess Melai Cantiveros asked Joross how he could keep up with his English-speaking wife. The actor replied that he always just jokes around and laughed. Joross was then asked, “Ikaw naman Joross, kung mayroon kang isang bagay na maipapangako mo sa iyong wifey, ano ito and bakit?”.

The actor turned serious, and answered:

“Mas mamahalin ko ang panginoon. Dahil kapag minahal ko si God, everything follows. Siyempre ‘iyong pagmamahal ko sa Kanya magrereflect sa attitude ko sa pagmamahal ko towards sa’yo (Katz)…

And laging lahat ng sweldo ko sainyo parin. Haha! Hindi, hindi in terms of pera lang okay.“

The audience and the hosts were laughing so hard at this point and Joross suddenly gave his wife a kiss. The laughter then turned into a collective “awww!” and the couple was met with an applause. The actor added that he was indeed very lucky to have Katz as his wife, and that it is actually really her who keeps their family together.
