Kapamilya actress Sunshine Cruz grieves over the death of her brother, Darwin Cruz

While many have just finished celebrating the joyful Yuletide season and are busy preparing for the new year, Kapamilya actress Sunshine Cruz and her family are mourning a heart-wrenching loss. Sunshine’s brother, Darwin Cruz, passed away two days on December 27, 2017. The actress has not yet revealed the cause of her brother’s demise.

Meanwhile, the actress took to Facebook in order to keep the people updated on the details about her brother’s passing. On December 27, 2017, she wrote the followoing:

“Family, fyi mass is at 7am tomorrow at crematorium chapel and his cremation is at 8am. Wake will be at Holy Trinity Memorial, Sucat Paranaque (St. Joseph Chapel) tomorrow after his cremation at around 1pm til the morning of *30th.”

The details were followed by another note from the actress. On December 28, 2017, she penned,

“Family and friends, the family decided that the wake of my brother Darwin Braden Cruz will only be until the morning of the *30th(edited). Thank you.”

The actress tagged her mother and two sisters, Maricel and Maritess, on both Facebook posts.

The actress also shared her grief on Instagram, wherein she uploaded a picture of them grieving over the coffin of her departed brother. The caption reads, “Rest now Kuya.”

On the other hand, singer-actress Geneva Cruz likewise expressed her condolences through a photo she uploaded on Facebook. She uploaded an old snap of them and wrote in the post,

“To one of my favorite bassists… sleep tight now. I’ll always remember your smile, Kuya Darwin Braden Cruz. xoxo”

Aside from Geneva Cruz, Darwin is also related to prominent stars such as Rayver Cruz, Donna Cruz, Sheryl Cruz, and Tirso Cruz III.
