Jane Oineza answers ‘Fast Talk’ question about her friendship with Kathryn Bernardo

On a recent episode of the late-night talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Kapamilya star Jane Oineza appeared as guest to promote her latest movie and horror flick “Haunted Forrest.” Tito Boy then probed the actress during the “Fast Talk” segment, asking if she is still friends with teen queen Kathryn Bernardo, to which Jane immediately responded with a resounding “yes.”

Jane Oineza set the online world abuzz after she answered “no comment” to a fellow Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate who asked if Kathryn went under the knife. The two then resolved their supposed dispute when the teen queen visited the country’s most popular crib.

In her defense, the actress explained that she didn’t mean anything malicious. She also turned emotional and apologized to her friend. Kathryn, on the other hand, accepted Jane’s apology and also advised her to be careful with her choice of words next time and added that her statement was probably misinterpreted by the public.

After the two settled their differences, Kathryn jested that she should have let the other housemates touch her face for them to check if she really did undergo surgery.

In other news, Jane recently shared during a press conference that she is happily in love with fellow PBB alum Kyle Secades. She also took down the rumors that she and Kyle became a couple after her breakup with the UAAP star Jeron Teng.

“After moving on, you find yourself and you get to know yourself better. Kung ano yung kailangan mo at saka ‘di rin naman ‘yung naghanap ako, hindi rin. Dumating lang din s’ya. ‘Di ko naman siya kilala before.”

Jane shared that Kyle’s sense of humor is what attracts her to him the most. She added that she can be her real self around her beau.

“Pinaka-important sa’kin yung sinu-support n’ya kung ano yung ginagawa ko hindi sya nagiging hindrance sa career ko. Plus, funny kasi s’ya eh. ‘Yung sense of humor nya, isa yun sa pinakagusto ko. Sarili ko ako pag kasama ko sya walang pretensions. Wala, kahit na weird yung gagawin ko kahit na baliw okay lang, tanggap yung ganun, S’yemrpe kasi minsan nahihiya ka as a girl, di ako pwedeng magkamay, mga ganun, pero s’ya hindi, you can be yourself with him. Mas mahal ka pa nung tao pag ikaw yun.”
