Back in the day, Isabelle de Leon used to grace television screens with her regular appearance in GMA Network’s sitcom, “Daddy Di Do Du.”
It starred Vic Sotto as the father, while Maxine Magalona, Danica Sotto-Pingris, and Isabelle played his quirky and lovable daughters onscreen.
Now, several years after the sitcom ended, one of its actors has reunited with another co-star of the show.
Based on GMA Entertainment’s report, Isabelle de Leon had a reunion with Joonee Gamboa. Isabelle played the role of Duday while Joonee played the role of Gener.
The former child star shared a picture of them on her Instagram account under the handle of isabelledeleontv, where the caption reads:
“DALAGA NA SI DUDAY! [insert emoji] 4 years later, and he still has that swag! Haha! So happy that I was able to spend Christmas with you tito Joonee Gamboa [insert emojis]”
As of this writing, her picture has gained around 11, 541 likes from the netizens.
Of course, many of them expressed their thoughts in the comments section and exclaimed that “Duday” has definitely grown from her cute “Daddy Di Do Du” days.
It featured Isabelle as she recreated a certain pose with Joonee. The recent picture on the left showed the former child star mimicking a stance from the past with an older Joonee.
Juxtaposed against it was the original picture that the actress has shared as a throwback. It featured a younger version of her while Joonee wore hip – so to speak – attire beside her.
Isabelle didn’t mention how she met Joonee after several years. This is also the first time that she had an official reunion with a former “Daddy Di Do Du” cast member.
She has not met with Maxene, Danica, or Vic as of the moment; or at least there are no photos.
