Netizen shares her experience when she booked an Uber X to work

Lots of us rely on ride-hailing applications so that we could arrive earlier on our destinations in a comfortable and more convenient manner. However, one netizen encountered something unusual when she decided to avail the services of Uber.

She narrated that she decided to booked Uber X on her way to work. To her surprise, the car who arrived to fetched her had a young woman with him. She emphasized in the beginning of her Facebook post that she specifically booked an Uber X vehicle, not Uber Pool. Therefore, she was surprised to see another passenger inside the car. The young woman sat in the passenger’s seat beside the driver.

She suspected that the other passenger might be drunk because of the latter’s position. According to her, she was the third passenger of that particular Uber X car to have encountered the young woman. The young woman was initially picked up by the driver of Bonifacio Global City, Taguig the night before.

She was supposed to be dropped off somewhere in Parañaque. Unfortunately, she didn’t wake up from her sleep so the driver decided to carry her around until he attended to his shift the next day. This was when the netizen saw the young woman. When she found out about her fellow passenger’s story, she wrote on her status (referring to them), “Roadtrip ang peg nila.”

According to her, the driver has the option to bring the young woman to the authorities. She ended her status with the following words:

“I asked kuya driver to take her to the nearest police station for assistance. Thank you Ate girl, na late ako sa office dahil sa sobrang pag pa-party mo. Ate girl sana naman next time, drink responsibly [insert angry emoji]”
