Do you remember Carl Barrameda of the comedy sketch show “Goin’ Bulilit?”
He used to be part of the original cast in 2005 to 2007 but now, he is gaining online attention because of his improved looks.
It is an indication that puberty has definitely done him good. Carl is now 24 years old and lying low in the local showbiz industry.
However, his IMDB profile indicates that he’s an assistant director.
In December 2014, ABS-CBN News reported that he reunited with some of his fellow “Goin’ Bulilit” members like Kiray Celis, Katrina Legaspi, Mikylla Ramirez, Eliza Pineda, Kristel Fulgar, Sharlene San Pedro, Miles Ocampo, Angel Sy, Nikki Bagaporo, Julia Montes, Alfred Labatos, John Manalo, Igi Boy Flores, Kobi Vidanes, EJ Jallorina, Steven Fermo, and Yong Chiu.
All of them had a Christmas gathering where the program director, Badj Mortiz, shared pictures on his Instagram account.
In February 2015, ABS-CBN Entertainment shared that a video that featured some former members who gave an update on their lives.
Carl Barrameda said, “Nag-AD (assistant director) ako sa sarili kong show, ‘Goin’ Bulilit,’ dati. Naging AD din ako sa ‘Home Sweetie Home.’”
He also appeared in “Doble Kara” as the young version of Julio, in “Honesto” as the young version of Diego, and in several episodes of the drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” from 2007 to 2012.
In 2011, Carl Barrameda appeared in the horror-comedy “Bulong” as Fatima’s brother.
In July 2017, ABS-CBN Push reported that he opened up a new Japanese restaurant with his fellow “Goin’ Bulilit” member, Nash Aguas.
It is called Muramen and it is located in the University Belt. It had its soft opening in July 28, 2017, where Carl shared how he and Nash reunited to venture into business. He said:
“Actually matagal kaming hindi nagkita nito at hindi rin kami masyadong close nong bata pa kami kasi siyempre malaki ‘yung (age) gap naming dalawa so nong nag-start na akong mag-direct sa ABS so nagkaroon sa Luv U, nagkaroon ng TV show, nagkaroon ng chance na don ako mapunta, so nagkaroon ng chance na maging close kami.”
